You are driving down the road, there's a dog that you can avoid only by swerving into oncoming traffic and killing/severely injuring the driving in an oncoming car. If you don't swerve, you kill the dog.

If you replaced "dog" with "person" I would still hit the person. Ultimately, it wouldn't matter what species walked into the road, I would hit whatever walked into the road.

Jonathan, you really make me feel like a genius. So did you really not take away from what I said that basically, no matter what walked into the road, I would rather hit what walked into the road than the innocent driver across the way? If Jesus himself walked into the road, I would hit his dumb ass for walking into the road than killing some innocent driver. Best case is I don't hit anyone or anything. But Hartmann proposed a theoretical question so I gave a theoretical answer.
