I'd paste a link but it seems the vid is getting removed pretty quickly. pretty shitty thing to do, but I'm sure the media will take it and run with it and try to pin every marine alive as some kind of torturer.

So comes the philosophical question. I think this guy deserves to be punished for doing it but I've gotta ask this question anyway.

You are driving down the road, there's a dog that you can avoid only by swerving into oncoming traffic and killing/severely injuring the driving in an oncoming car. If you don't swerve, you kill the dog.

Paradox indeed, however, I would hit the dog for the sole reason that I would know by hitting the dog I would save myself. Were I to swerve to try to avoid the dog, the potential would arise for me to kill myself as well as the other driver.

But you're also asking a question that's totally unrelated here. You're talking about the accidental death of a canine. You could pose the same question only ask what would happen if a small toddley stepped out into the street.

The point is this asshole was deliberatley using a poor helpless animal's death to make himself feel powerful, and he should be crushed for this blatant stupidity.
