Less than two years after taking the job at Indiana, Sampson gets caught committing the exact same recruiting violations he got caught committing at Oklahoma. Indiana, facing NCAA sanctions due to Sampson's blatant disregard for the rules, fires Sampson

....and gives him a $750k buyout.

You fuck up and break the rules, not once but twice, manage to get not one but two universities put on probation in the process, and you get a severance package because your employer is scared of you filing a wrongful dismissal lawsuit?
