As American troops moved toward Iraq, Saddam Hussein was receiving information about U.S. battle strategy and troop movements from a Russian ambassador, according to a released Pentagon report.

BAGHDAD, Iraq  — The Russian government had sources inside the American military command as the U.S. mounted the invasion of Iraq, and the Russians passed information to Saddam Hussein on troop movements and plans, according to Iraqi documents released as part of a Pentagon report.

Why are we surprised? We armed Afganistan against Russia in the 90's. They're just returning the favor.

But I still think Russia needs to get owned again. They need to get the message. "Russia, stfu already. You aren't a world power. You haven't been since the 60's. Stop trying your hand at global politics and go back to the ice cave you came from."
