Ok since all the sports media won't shuttup about this, I'm curious what you guys think. Clemens has had a 60 mins interview, press release, and recorded phone conversation with McNamee. Should be easy to find if you hadn't seen/heard any of them. IMHO all these interviews and recordings make Clemens look even more guilty, but then again some parts of them point the other way. I.e. McNamee on Clemens taking a lie detector test: "He's probably one of the ones that could beat the test." I'm not sure what to think but I'm still about 80/20 that he's guilty.

![]() So 18% of America believes that Clemens didn't do... However, the surprising thing is that 43% thinks that BOTH of them are lying? Can someone explain to me how this is possible. They think that Clemens denial is false, but they also think that the guy saying Clemens used steroids is false. So what exactly IS the third option?! Oh yeah this was taken off of cnn.com -------------------- ![]() |

However, the surprising thing is that 43% thinks that BOTH of them are lying? Can someone explain to me how this is possible. The question they asked is a little too general. McNamee did lie, to the new york times, to other media outlets, etc about not having any evidence. That's what that stupid senator called him out on. Was it a lie? Yeah, but obviously he did it to try to protect the players. McNamee has not lied at all to the commitees (at least it doesn't appear that he did). You're not required by law to tell the truth to some stupid newspaper. |
