He says he will not will run as an independent candidate and that he has shifted his focus to winning the primary to keep his house seat.

It'll be interesting to see if there are any major independents this year. I figured Ron Paul would go that way.

He's said repeatedly that he wouldn't run as an independent candidate, so I'm not surprised.
