not really sure what data you go by, but san antonio has more than 1.3 million more residents than el paso in our metro area.

also not sure if any of y'all read the report that just came out by Education Trust, but you should. even within school districts, the quality of teachers vary by socio economic status of students and subsequently the communities.

Ok, I will agree to that, BUT coming from someone who has actually worked in low-income school districs, there are teachers there that do a whole lot for those kids. The teacher I worked with in particular had kindergarten kids reading, learning the Presidents of the U.S., learning the states, learning how to predict weather changes. It was ridiculous what she was teaching these kids...kids who were lucky to have 1 parent. All Im saying is you talk down the quality of education for low-income students, but our whole education system is flawed. I've met rich daddy girls in college who are less intelligent than those kids I taught.

And I'm just going by what the U.S. census page says. El Paso has about a million people, but that site says we only have like 600k or something... And the point of that wasnt to show population size, but rather socio-economic status of the two cities because you seem to think you're from the worst place in Texas or something. San Antonio is absolute trash. I wouldn't live there if someone put a gun to my head, but it's not because of the socio-economic status. Its because your city doesnt care about keeping it clean. Its ugly as shit there.
