So I have a Sony DAV-BC150 5 disc dvd changer with surround sound system. I lost the remote in a move (or someone didn't give it to me when I asked). I love the thing, and I don't want to buy a new surround sound system for a damn remote. Anyways, I looked on Sony's parts thingy and a new remote would cost me $54.53 including shipping. I checked ebay, and it was the same price. I tried buying a cheap universal remote that worked with Sony DVD players, and it woldn't work (my guess is because it's also a surround system). Is there another universal remote that I can buy that might be cheaper than spending $55 or should I just throw down the cash. I haven't had the remote since June, and I'm really sick of not having it. I can't change sound settings or watch special features or anything. HELP! Find me a cheap way out of this one...
Post meant mostly for Impala since he seems to be the home theatre expert these days. Thanks! |

anyone on these boards who thinks I'm psycho can now refer to Will's post in this thread for proof otherwise.
I mean, technically, I could just buy the damn thing cuz I have the money, but I just wanted a cheaper alternative. It would be nice to lay in bed at night and be able to turn my music off and on without having to get up (I hook it up to my computer too) |
