Anyone use flax oil as a nutritional supplement? I don't mean the capsules, I mean using the oil in food. I tried some in a smoothie this morning and it was nasty as all hell, made me want to barf. I'm open to ideas on what to do with it (assuming the oil isn't just rancid, which I doubt since it's a brand new bottle). If I can't find anything tasty to do with it, I'm gonna stick to making flax crackers and the like...

When I actually had a good routine going I always put a couple spoonfuls of the ground flaxseed into my smoothies... didn't even notice the taste really.
