So, I've been wanting to get one for a while.....was looking at Best Buy's ad, and they have a 250 GB portable for $139 or a 320 GB regular one for $129. They're both by Western Digital....are they any good of a brand?
I kinda prefer the portable one, because I dont need THAT much memory, and my Macbook has 160 GB. I just wanted one for occassional backup purposes. Also, any other good specials? EDIT: and just to piss off Impala....I want a GAY ONE!! Something in pretty colors!!

If you have Leopard, just spend the money and get the Time Capsule thing from Apple. You can use it as a mixed "selective" backup and a complete backup solution. What I mean by that is, you can have your repository of photos on it while backing up your machine's state.
