Basically, you keep your inbox count at 0. I started doing this about a month ago and really, really like it. I have a slightly more elaborate folder setup since I need to keep client e-mails separate but the concept is the same. i have 0 in my inbox. when one comes in, i either reply, put it in a folder marked 'to reply' or delete.
