My new Korean cell phone, yes yes Options

I just bought a cell phone here, and they're actually very expensive. I already knew the phones here were 3 years ahead of the American market, and about 1 year ahead of Europe, but I guess that's the price you pay.

I WANTED to buy the new Motorola RAZR Z, or even the LG Chocolate...freakin' awesome but were $500-600.
The LG Chocolate (because it looks like a candy bar) actually doesn't even have buttons on the outside, its a touchpad that senses your finger's touch.

The new Razr was definitely my favorite, and looks way better in person. It's similar to the Razrs in the US but it isn't a flip phone, it's a slide phone (or candy bar).


I didn't want to spend a lot, so I got this Samsung for $200. It's still really nice and extremely small, and gives off alpha waves which help your memory and make you feel happy??

I didn't even spend that much money on the phone I have + the car kit for it....If I'd have bought the booster for it then I could have spent that much, but that will also get reception damn near anywhere, heh

uhhh Samsung has consistently had some of the worst ratings for cell phones over the years. Not until the past couple of months has Samsung come out with some phones that are durable

I know it isnt new, but Samsung's version of the Razr (Sprint) looks mighty entriguing. If i was going to stay with Sprint, I would definitely consider it.


Anyone know of some good phones that work with Verizon?

That's odd considering that most returns/exchanges are for Motorola's (especially the Razr) and LG's. Gen told me that when I was about to go phone shopping and Jim's now seen that too.

perhaps the highest return rate with Sprint is with Samsung and with Cingular its different.
Sprint only had one Motorola phone and it had shitty reviews. On the other hand, when I had Verizon, I had a couple Motorola phones that were outstanding. I have noticed that LG is very hit and miss. Their slider phone for Sprint had problems because eventually the Slider would break. I will probably never buy another Samsung or LG product though. Every samsung thing that I have ever owned has been a piece of shit.

The last three Motorola phones I have had were of much better quality than the audiovox ....I've never owned an LG phone, but all the way back to my StarTAC, the Motorola phones I've had have taken a beating and kept on ticking ...

Maybe so. As far as Motorola is concerned, I think it's mainly the Razr that sucks nuts. Back in March there was a glitch so bad that Cingular and T-Mobile simply stopped carrying the Razr for a while.

And this has nothing to do with Motorola Recalling a batch of RAZRs. Or that there are at least six known problems of the RAZRs that are found in almost every one of them.

well I had a Samsung and my dad has an LG back in the States, and even though LG and Samsung are both Korean companies, the phones they make here are totally different and way better. they have to make completely different (i.e. worse) phones to sell to america because of the lower quality cell networks that the US uses. they need to step up and upgrade their crap for sure.

Nokia, IMO has some of the coolest phones on the market but those Korean phones look pretty cool Jonathan. Is the interface in Korean? My grandparents made a trip over to South Korea and said that the networks are amazing. People were making calls in tunnels, on mountains, etc. and not having any trouble. Pretty amazing.

well the keys have korean and english letters on them, so its easy to navigate. and yeah people are on the phones in the subway all the time, and basements, etc.
