I'm doing alright.

Married. Working.

It's weird being a grown-up, and that's sad, considering I've been out of school for four years.

Someone killed my eclipse by pulling out in front of me, so now I have a 2010 Mustang. Went with the cheap model though since i have a house worth of debt from my law school. I guess that would be my new toy.

Who was it that just got the hybrid car? Want to compare gas mileage? haha you win... 15mpg in city. Beautiful.

Just got back from Australia for 2 months. Just traveling like Hartmann for work, and some for pleasure.

Blow my money on Beer and Traveling, though I have a nice 401k/roth maxed out. Saving for a house, but prices keep falling in the area.

Not worried at all about being laid off, have about 20 years worth of contracts ahead. Dating a girl from the Grad college at UA for the last year.

No plans, just being happy

Dating the cutest girl in the world for about 4 months now and working. I've been applying/looking for jobs overseas.

Working, training, grad school. Moved into a new place over in Tech Terrace...quite nice and large.

Will be fighting at least 3 times this year, and will compete in the No-Gi world championships in November in California.

Gave birth to Alexandria Dawn on Dec 10th. My husband deployed 2 weeks later to Iraq for a year. Yup that means 2 babies under 18 months by myself. I still live in shitty Georgia. I head up the Family Readiness Group for my husband's unit. I'm also applying to some online grad programs so I can get a Master's in speech language pathology.

How hard is Japanese with Rosetta Stone? I've thought about getting it.

It's not particularly difficult. I can't speak very well to its effectiveness yet, as I'm only a quarter through Japanese level 1 (I bought levels 1-3). You might want to supplement it with some written material, like a book on grammar. I'm not convinced that they do a good job teaching the kana, but my listening/reading comprehension and speaking does seem to be improving.

They do have something like a 60-day money-back guarantee, so there's not much risk in trying it out. Also, we successfully installed it on two different computers and you can have up to four users total without purchasing additional licenses.

Now paying for Adobe Pro when all I need to do is crop some damn files, on the other hand...

OMG i am told this still exists!

I completed my Masters in Social Work this May and I work in the child welfare field. I love my job and the families/kiddos I work with. I'm living in Houston with my bf Kevin (who was ratm1560d). We've been together for 4.5 years now. We live in the city and like doing city stuff. I am currently studying for my state license.

Kevin graduated in 2007 from Tech and is an engineer here in Houston. He's been at his job now for a whopping 3 yrs!

Alfie and Stella are still doing great (the doggies) and together Kevin and I have two cats (Shiro and Rachel).

We visit Austin and get to see Alex every once in awhile (was his screenname really pyrex? or am i just thinking about food handling)

oh yeah you guys will like that I still own my Prius and still get about 50mpg!

Dang, it's been forever since I jumped on here.

I've been married for almost two years now. I have the most badass 6 month old and currently working for Dell Services in Frisco, TX.

Chuck, it sounds like your work is way more awesome than mine. Who do you work for? I need to get some of that.

I work for Raytheon, travel a lot for them. I saw Jonathan in Seoul and saw my HS friend get married.

Where in CA? I travel there often.

I am off to Seattle/Vancouver for a weekend. I got to see HMWH and some others at his bachelor party. Everyone seems to be getting married, but it seems a long way off for me.

Hi everyone!

Just checking in with everyone.

So, a lot has happened in my life the past 2 years. I got married in 08 and had a baby boy. We moved to Georgia. I had a baby girl in 09. My husband deployed to Iraq when she was 2 weeks old. That was the longest 7 months of my life, but I am so lucky to have him back now. He got an Army scholarship to go back to school. If it weren't for that scholarship, he would still be in Iraq. Anyways, we are now living in El Paso with our two beautiful children, who are now 9 months and 2 years old. My family is obviously the most important thing ever to me. I am currently working as an ESL teacher at 3 homeless shelters in El Paso. I hope to begin work on Master's in Technical Communication soon. In 3.5 years, my husband will be a commissioned officer and we will move again, so I hope to have a solid education to start my career by then.

I miss all of you, and I hope the best for you. I would love to keep in touch with every one of you, even the ones with whom I didn't get along so well in the past. You can find me on facebook if you search the email address jessica.l.jacobs@ttu.edu or search for Jessica Mummert (I think my name is really hard to find). If you don't have facebook, you can email me at jessicalmummert@gmail.com.

The reason this place died off is because everybody graduated or moved and stopped looking at teh pron all the time, hehe. I live in Abilene and am surprisingly still not married.(that's a good laugh) I hope to get back to Tech sometime in the next couple years and finally finish my degree but other than that there's really not much going on.

Graduated from Tech in 2007, worked in Houston for a couple of years, hated it and moved back to Lubbock in Feb. 2009. Now I'm working as a sportswriter and host a daily sports radio show in town.

A year ago I left Lubbock. I worked in Antarctica for the summer season at McMurdo station. Traveled around southeast asia and right now i'm in Cape Cod working at a hostel. If anyone's still in Lubbock, I'll probably be visiting the Hub city in about a month and will be at other various locations throughout Texas.

A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

Bought a home in 2011, I'm a licensed practitioner, and getting married next month.

Stella and Alfie are still doing well. More evidence she is indeed immortal.

Still driving my Prius

Still being a thorn in the side of people who just can't grasp what's good for them

My late night adventures have decreased over the years but at a recent party there was still fire, costumes, and much loud noises

I've been thinking of adding to my tattoo work only if I can find the right kind of artist to do my vato-themed cats in a low rider scene. If you all know someone...

Holy SHIT, this site still exists?!?!?

Well, I'm a day time professional MMA and jiu jitsu fighter/coach. I spend my nights working for TTU Housing.
I unfortunately tore my right medial meniscus on March 9th and am waiting to get a 2nd opinion on treatment/surgery options.

Looking at going to the fire academy locally and get certified as Fire Fighter level I & EMT-B...then take said certifications elsewhere
to live & work.

I'm still in freakin' Korea! But I'm leaving soon! Been here about 5.5 years now and have traveled quite extensively in that time. I'm not working but just studying and taking it easy at the moment. Going back home in a couple months and then I plan on spending 2-3 months in central America. Then I'll finally have to realize that I'm a grownup and need to find a real job. crying.gif I only have a year and a half left of my 20s! I don't like this getting old business.
