If a person is charged with a Class B Misdemeanor, what is the process that follows? Is an arrest warrant issued at that time?

ok, the crime is non-violent and the person is not a flight risk and has no prior record for anything.

Isn't a Class B what they give for DWI the first time?
Will they come knock on your door and take them away? No. There will be a warrant out for his arrest though, so if he gets pulled over or for some reason stopped on the street, he will go straight to jail.
