I was doing some searching for houses for my brother up there and came across some of the properties that are in North Overton now: http://www.realestatebook.com/homes/North-...-Lubbock-TX-USA

Are these things actually selling?

I figured bungalows would do better, because these homes seem too big and over priced for anyone to actually be interested in, especially with them next door to all of the apartments.

I seriously doubt they're selling at those prices. I went and drove around there when I was there last and yeah, it's a nicely done area but it's chock full of giant apartments and tiny little roads and lots. Those in the $300k range are ridiculously overpriced.

Are you seriously looking for a house to buy up there? Shoot me a PM with the kind of requirements you're looking for.
