I agree that's pretty messed up about the judges taking payments. Though the story on the second page about the Kurt kid is bullshit. Guy pleads guilty to accessory to robbery, gets off by going to some "wilderness camp" instead of juvey, then blames his dropping out of school on it and talks about how he got a raw deal??

It's messed up. But seriously, am I expected to have sympathy for 16 year olds that don't know basic civil rights (right to an attorney)?

It is really bad. The sap story was really bad though. Kid probably would of dropped out if he got away with the crime.
