Post anything pertaining to the OSU game here.

A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

It's hard to tell after the texas game. If OSU doesn't bring their A game, then we will win, if they make completions and tire out our defense then they will win.

OSU is tough but they haven't won a game against us when we play at home...

they've been 0 - 8

so we have a chance to really really pound the hell out of them and finally prove we're worth it

then the ultimate deciding challenge is oklahoma who has always been a huge competitor for us...that game will make or break it

plus you know OU is looking for revenge after last year.

as long as we play with this same caliber then we should be able to beat OSU.

But honestly who can tell with Tech. I know this team is different but still...

OSU 30
TTU 27

It is self-evident that OSU will be the toughest match-up on both side of ball games: offensive and defensively. Since the cowboys both have their aerial and ground attack going at almost full-throttle, our defensive lineman will be challenged as ut defensive linemans were challenged against our balanced run/pass game. It would be a repeat of Nebraska game, but with better equipped firepower in ground attack from cowboys. This will be a tough match up for us. It will be another 3TO game so leach better prepare his special team with solid game plan. If somehow we win out, I am damn glad our guys get to rest a week before heading to norman and beat OU. It is very possible for us to reach the national title game this year if we win next week. OSU will be a pivotal game and make/break game for tech.

on side note, I am sick and tired of media people taking away respect we deserve. They are now assuming that we will lose at least once in november and how UT (or florida) can sneak into the national championship game scene. They were kept talking how respect needs to be earned, and not given all week long and see what is happening. We've EARNED the respect by kicking UT's ass in some astronomical way, and they just wave hand at us and saying we will not be perfect.

I predict we will go unbeaten this year. This is the year that we will finally shine and Leache's REAL coaching career at TTU will start.

So...

Even if we do lose out to one of the oklahoma schools we still have a very good chance of going to a BCS bowl game!

Very exciting

ummm... I doubt that. The later in the season a loss occurs, the more detrimental it is to a team's ranking.

When all the teams in the big 12 have at least one loss than yes. You have to consider the difficulty that is the big 12.

if we lose, texas goes to the championship because they've had the hardest schedule

here's one scenario that's a possibility

alabama loses on sat....probably won't happen but this season is pretty crazy...

penn state loses on sat...again may not happen

tech wins osu and oklahoma...

that means tech moves to #1 spot and texas moves to #2 and both of us go to the championship game

Another possibility tech loses to either OU or OSU

Alabama and penn state remain undefeated and go to the national championship

Texas and tech go to a bcs bowl

Tech plays someone like Boise state

Or

Tech loses to both and goes to the holiday bowl

I would LOVE to see that happen.

But Florida would probably move past UT if they win out. They still have a few ranked teams left plus the SEC championship game. UT has Baylor and Kansas, both unranked.

does anybody know whether tech game or usc game is broadcasted in ohio ?
It seems like ABC will regionally broadcast two games depending on where you are and I hope I can see the game on HD on saturday.

USC is not overrated. In fact, USC's weapons are overshadowed by their week opponents in PAC10 conference. About the coverage map, though, I think they should broadcast CAL vs USC game in LA only.

What I said is accurate. They had high 30ish points, and the Bulldogs had one TD and a field goal. I watched the game. I don't know if it was aired nationwide, but seeing as how I live 1.5 hours from Jacksonville, FL we got the game.

And btw, I think that was a horrible call earlier. That receiver obviously had control of that ball before he fumbled, but it doesn't matter. We still got the first down.

They aren't winning in Norman. Sorry

Althogh that might not matter. It'll be whoever wins UF/Bama and whoever wins the Big 12

Tech has a chance. I wouldn't completely give it to OU. OU is definitely going to be looking for revenge though. They did lose to Tech last year right?

I'm thinking it's pretty possible that we pass Alabama in the polls. I think Alabama won in OT. We are dominating right now. As long as we keep a strong lead in this final quarter, it is very possible.

HOLY SHIT! INTERCEPTION!!!! WOOT!

I mean, 6 STRAIGHT TD'S! Come on. We should definitely be #1 after this game.

Is that the 7th straight TD for TTU or did we have the ball between this one and our last TD?

i've never understood how people think we hulk-out and rip out bleachers... they are just made so that two bolts are holding up an entire row of people. Bolts break

I watched part of the OU-A&M game for giggles and our biggest problem is going to be keeping the defense rested. OU runs the hurry-up the entire game. If McNeill can counter that with some run stopping defense, I think we'll be ok. We have not won in Norman since 1996 so I am worried.

With OU's defense suffering (their starting middle linebacker is out, as well as one of their better pash rushers) I think our offense can fire it up, Harrell just needs to mentally stay with it like he did against OSU.

There is argument out there that says we should not be #2 because of our playing of 2 1-AA teams. Thoughts?

If that were the case, then Utah and Boise State should not be ranked where they are. Strength of schedule isn't calculated into the formula anymore I think. I don't know how I feel about that, but at the same time, we did beat TEXAS, OSU, and Kansas... So they can suck it.

Strength of Schedule is not a factor in the calculation but it is still in the BCS computer simulation.

I think it's a bunch of BS. We still beat three ranked teams in the Big 12 and are still one of the few undefeated teams in the nation. You could also argue that Penn state should have never been number three with their piss poor excuse of a schedule.

The Big 12 site has free replays of the Tech-OSU game and the Tech-UT game. They also have OU-A&M if you want to see what's coming. Plus earlier games I haven't looked for yet.

Here's the link to the menu page. You may have to go to the 2nd page to get TTU-OSU. You have to sign up, but it's free for Big 12 games.
