the demo is prereleased for those who preorder but the demo will come out when the game is released on the 14th....
i can't get enough of it! the ai director that's built into the game is fantastic...it's randomized and it also randomizes attacks from behind so you're always on your feet...you don't know when you'll get swarmed from the front or the back -------------------- "Ah, y'know it's funny, these people they go to sleep, they think everything's fine, everything's good. Finally bought this game.
I was bored with it after about 3 hours? It's a first person version of dead rising with way less weapons. *yawn* Graphics are par for the course for Xbox 360 these days. Severe lack of variety of weapons = boring. No strategy involved whatsoever in single player campaign. IE, arcade-style zombie shootem up. i'll probably go take it back tomorrow. -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

Sweet ass, just got the pc version for the 1/2-off discount this weekend. Definitly a game im glad i bought on both systems. I know alex added me on steam
lol i got 8 achievements within the first two levels of the first campaign... heh Edit: Oh and the graphics are AWESOME on PC compared to xbox... but then again i think its my rig being better than xbox -------------------- |

this game is addictive to me, but i'm beginning to hate the online play. stupid pussies trying to ban everyone every 5 seconds if they don't keep up, or if some asshat runs in front of someones line of fire...

This game is great. Lotta rage quitters though. And these other "pro" gamers that boss around too much playing it waaaay too competitively. I usually tune them out and when I Fuck up on something they were telling me not to do then I calmly ask "what were you just sayin' bud?". If that doesn't tell them I don't give two shits about it then whatever... L4D is a fun game to me. Not competitive. CS, UT and Battlefield are competitive. --------------------   |

actually the group of folks i play with online are REALLY good at L4D but they're also pretty cool....no one is serious to the point where it takes away from gameplay

found a new way to handle my idiotic team mates that are worthless... assassinating teammates, while trying to not get caught. did it twice today, and even though i usually won't survive the stage, (though i did survive once today, and was 10ft from the safe house the 2nd time) it brings some level of sadistic enjoyment to me. heh the reason i did it was because i was in the red, and was dieing, and some little bitch stole the medkit i was grabbing, and used it on himself, and he had 40 health. they were split screeners with no mics and on the next stage, we got a tank to scatter us, and the same guy was trying to heal. i unloaded the shotgun on him, incapped him, then kept shooting till he popped. i healed, and stole his medpack, then joined the rest of the team. none of the others knew what i had done. the 2nd time another idiot on our team was the only one without a mic. we all had passed by a witch and were safe, and the idiot decided to go back for something, and startled her. i told the team that i would go get him. i ran back, and just stood there, right on top of him, while the witch killed him. i killed the witch after he died, stole his shit, then rejoined the group, said i wasn't there in time. heh -------------------- QUOTE (Jessica @ May 7 2007, 01:15 PM) but yeehaw dammit.
