Yay for being physically exhausted and watching the sun come up.
You know, I love being a mommy, but some days it is so..... I can't even think of a word. I spent the morning (and a good portion of the night) with a fussy and constipated baby. *Side note: just found a booger on my shoulder.* My son has had a difficult time pooping since we brought him home from the hospital. One time we even had to take him to the ER because he hadn't pooped in almost 3 days, which is sooo not good for babies. Usually I can sit him in a certain position on my lap for 30 minutes and he'll get it out (with many times him filling up his diaper so much that it spills out onto my clothes. Now most of my jeans have shit stains that won't come out.) Well, sometimes (like tonight) the certified "pooping position" doesn't work, and I have to stick a thermometer up his butt while he poops. It stinks. I have to sit there and keep putting wipes under him as he poops all over them. Yeah, he hadn't pooped in two days so he had enough poop coming out of him to fill 4 diapers. *sigh* all in the day of being a mommy. Kids are wonderful and so much fun, but be aware what you are getting yourself into. |
