not a very appealing pick imo. how does this go along with his "change" message?
sure hes got the foreign policy stuff that obama doesnt, but thats about it. he also has a lip thats gotten him in trouble many times. haha, i wouldnt be surprised if biden is the one who costs obama the election. imo he wouldve been better off with a lesser known candidate like bayh or kaine. -------------------- ![]() |

For emphasis. Wow. How could Obama's campaign miss that??? The same way that his campaign missed all the comments from people like the pastor/preacher and a few others who have supported his campaign.... Obama seems to miss a lot of red flags until people raise a stink. |

I think it's hilarious how he's going to bring "Change" to Washington with a guy who is an even bigger snake than he is at his side, except he's been a bigger snake for a lot longer too.
But that's ok, the national news media tells everyone Obama is going to change everything, so he's a God and can do no wrong. -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

I think this pretty much seals the deal for McCain.
Obama/Biden is an urban, north/east, fairly divisive ticket. I just don't see it happening. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

i think it seals the deal for obama. especially if mccain chooses romney. I don't see it that way at all. You still have a ton of pissed of Democrats who wanted Hillary and do not like Biden who may throw their votes toward Nader. I also think there is more to come from the Rezko ordeal. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

we need a vice president who isn't afraid to call the republicans out. i feel as if the vice president somewhat fills that role and john edwards didn't do any of that 4 years ago. the democrats problem with elections is never being on the offense, but always defending and it's been proven to not work recently.
he counteracts everything that obama is not. for example biden is for the death penalty, and obama is not. if someone was using that alone to not vote for obama, then maybe now they could reconsider. he actually has a reasonable plan to bring the troops home and leave iraq stable. he provides the experience that everyone seems to be holding over obama's head. obama may be admitting a weakness by choosing biden, and that is what a politician should do. admit where he's weak and attack it. still think that hillary would have been a better choice, but biden would have been my second. curious to see what mccain does now. So other than the death penalty, where are biden and obama opposites? And honestly I don't see grabbing a running mate with opposite views as something that 'seals the deal'. If someone's key issue is the death penalty, they're not voting for Obama. Having a VP which is for it isn't going to change that. Though I don't see the death penalty as some key issue for many. And the current administration is already working on a plan to finish up in Iraq, no doubt we'll be hearing much more about that before the elections. |

yeah that's true. and guess why? oh yeah that's because the great "unifiying speech" hillary was the one who made them all hate obama. it's hilarious how two-faced these people are. short of him dying before the election, I think mccain has this one won.
