A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

Yeah, I used to think the same thing until it came out that a lot of stuff on Man V. Wild was staged. He had people there helping him at certain points. Then I realized that Survivorman at least told the truth when he couldn't take it out there anymore.

It "came out" that some people were helping him out? They say that at the beginning of every show...

I actually learn survival techniques for all different kinds of landscapes and scenarios and stuff on man v. wild, which is really all of the fun in watching those shows. Survivorman doesn't really do it as well as bear grylls in my opinion.

they didn't use to say that. after he was found a fraud the discovery channel went ahead and added that to the shows

This was hashed and rehashed in these threads:

initial thread before it was found out that grylls' show was fake:

thread once it was released that it was fake
http://www.techsans.net/forums/index.php?s...;hl=survivorman

video proof that the man vs wild show was faked: http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1771093
