Basically, this kiddo had a massive tumor attached to her in the womb. Would've been fatal, so they had to put the mother under, remove the uterus from her abdomen, open it up to excise the tumor, then stitch it all back together. Nuts! Anyways, the kiddo survived the surgery and was born about a month ago. A bit premature, but apparently she's doing well. Just thought it was a really crazy condition and news story... -------------------- |
