Is it just me or has Sprint been systematically screwing people over these past few months? I have just about had it. I seriously think I need to admit myself to a mental institution because of those fuckers. Now that Jeff doesnt work there anymore, I can say with a clear conscience that I hate every last one of those fuckers that work for them too.

For the past few months, I have had a bunch of additional charges on my account for god knows what. When I call, they can never tell me what the fuck its for. They tell me its for internet usage of some kind and the charge stands. Then, randomly two months later, I'll have a credit to my account for some of those charges. So, I will be ever so delighted until yet again I get my sprint bill and there are more bogus charges.

This month, its gotten worse. I downgraded my plan back in December from unlimited text messaging to 100 text messages per month. That means I can only send 100 texts per month. Well, to make sure that I dont go over I delete my text messages on the last day of my billing cycle so that the count on my phone will reset when my new billing cycle starts. My billing cycle starts the 9th so I deleted everything from the 8th and before. My phone says I have sent 88 text messages so far this month, and my phone can store a maximum of 200 texts. I log onto Sprint's website to check my current usage on minutes and i see that it says I have sent 108 texts.....UH NOOOO. I have every text I have sent this month. The first text in my log of texts on my phone is from March 9th at 11:48 am. I probably wasnt even awake before that. I dont delete random texts during the month. Im not that stupid. I log my texts for a reason...my parents pay the bill.

So I call customer support and she tells me "the system is always right...BLAH BLAH BLAH" and very rudely at that, I might add. Im like "uhhh no your system has been wrong before. Let me speak to a supervisor". I only asked after 5 minutes of going back and forth with her. She refuses to let me speak to one. I asked again, and again she wouldnt let me. WHY THE FUCK WOULD I LIE ABOUT 20 TEXT MESSAGES? Besides, anyone who knows me knows that Im precise as all hell when it comes to certain things and this is one of those things. I KNOW IM RIGHT. So, now, the bitch says im wrong and that there is nothing that can be done. I tell her a lot of things, but I actually refrained from cussing. I am 80 cents over on text messaging and I cant send another text until April 9th.

Why am I so pissy over 80 cents? Well, its the fucking principle of the matter. That and i had 12 more texts I could send this month. I like to use those while Im at work and to text my friend Sarah who is going through a really hard time. Seriously, I fucking hate sprint. Their phones are overpriced pieces of shit that I could probably build better if I read a book about electronics. I paid 500 bucks for my damn phone and I have already had to get it replaced once and I havent even had it a year and half. Moral of the story: switch to Cingular if you live in Lubbock or switch to Verizon if you live in a major city. I swear to god i cant wait until I move to Austin next month. Im soooo getting rid of sprint. NO CONTRACT WITH SPRINT, BITCHES.

I get 1000 anytime minutes and unlimited night and weekends + free sprint to sprint + phone insurance for $50.77 a month including taxes....and thats with me NOT being in a contract. I bought my phone based on user reviews for durability...not because I wanted something expensive. Just so happens that the phone has a problem where the charging device goes out eventually, but thats what insurance is for.

And no. its not flawed. I know why its saying I have more. Sometimes, I will send a text and it will say "message failed" and its because someone is trying to call me while im sending it. I told the lady that on the phone yesterday and she said that there is no way that their perfect system would charge me for failed messages.

I dont see how my method could be flawed if I dont delete any sent texts during the month. My phone holds up to 200 sent messages. My phone has a log of sent messages beginning the 9th of March which is the first day of my new billing cycle which I also made sure of by looking at Sprint's site. Im not stupid. I know what Im doing.

yeah, its like $4 a month, but with sprint its worth it because even if you are in a contract and your phone breaks, you will have to pay out of pocket full price for a new phone. They wont work with you at all unless you have had your phone and contract for a year in which you get a $75 rebate or at 18 months you get a $150 rebate. With the experiences I have had with Sprint, most of their new phones break between 6 and 8 months.

at the time, it had the best user reviews for durability. I had the phone you have before and I always had problems with it. I figured I would read up on cell phones and get the one that said it was most durable. I can throw this thing on the ground and it wont break. It has rubber sides and shit. However, the problem that all Sanyo cell phones seem to have is with the charging thing. It stops charging eventually.

It was either this phone or the LG slider phone which was only $250; however a lot of people were saying that the slider started to stick and would eventually cause the phone to break.

I honestly couldnt give two fucks that my phone has a camcorder, camera, and that I can watch tv on it. I never use those things. I just was hoping that because I spent that much money and because the user reviews were really high that I would get a phone that would last me 4 years. Apparently, I was wrong.

my phone doesnt have an mp3 player like that. That is the upgrade of my phone. If its the one Im thinking about, my roommate has it and she dropped a pretty penny also on that phone. Its a pretty bad ass phone though. They stopped selling it after like 3 months though. Sprint took all their higher end sanyo phones off the market it seems. currently, the most expensive phone that isnt a pda phone is Samsung's version of the razor. It costs like $350. correct, since everyone i know has had problems with Sprint.

for the last 4 months, i've had the same charges for the same three games appear on my phone bill. two i cancelled last summer, the other one i never even bought in the first place. each month, i've called, waited on hold for 20 minutes, and spoke to some foreign bitch with absolutely no grasp of the english language for a good hour each time. each time, the conversation goes like this:

rep: are you sure the games have been deleted?
me: yes, the subscriptions were cancelled months ago
rep: (after 30 minutes of putting me on hold) well, we can credit your account and i'll take the games off, next time try going online to cancel them
me: i have, it doesn't work
rep: ok, the games are off
me: they better not show up next month then

and of course, next month i'm on the phone again bitching about the same three games that still haven't been removed. i don't even want to get into last month's bill, where i was charged $51 for "internet usage." only problem is, i don't have a text plan and i haven't gotten on the internet in half a year.

another fun thing is when i cancelled my text plan so i wasn't supposed to be able to receive or send any text messages. of course, people still texted me and they still tried to charge me text fees (even though my plan is set up where people aren't supposed to be able to text me). another fun thing is when my bill shows one text a month - that text being from Sprint, trying to sell me shit.


i'm really surprised the BBB hasn't gone after Sprint and their illegal and unethical charges. it's a big fucking scam

And unless you are going to a different sprint store (there is only one major one in lubbock that can deal with customer complaints), you are even more of a fucking moron for standing in the same line as the people with phone problems. There are two seperate and distinct areas....one area to buy new phones...and another area for customer service with billing issues. Dont be stupid. Quit making shit up.

my first phone never broke, had it 2 years, then changed from T-mobile to Cingular. My second phone has had no problems with it and it's 2 or 3 years old.

Both of the phones were the ones you get free with any contract. I like free stuff that doesn't break.

its 2 lines. yes, the people over at the sales area will grab people from the customer service area if there are no phone sales and the line at customer service is insane. You are wrong though. If you walk up to the sales area and stand there to buy a phone, they will help you there. you dont have to stand in the customer service line.
