They are mildly amusing, but I kinda have to agree with Dogmeat. They usually suck bc guys fighting on ice don't get much momentum so they just kinda slip and slide around like retards. I'm not voting because I don't lean more either way.

it's somewhat entertaining, but if i wanted to watch boxing i'd go to a boxing match.
why is it acceptable in hockey and not in other sports like basketball? -------------------- Don't sweat the petty, pet the sweaty.

they hardly show hockey on tv anymore. who the hell buys a ticket to a hockey game to watch something that may or may not happen.

Its allowed because they are fighting ON ICE. oh and i think they are amusing based off how they affect the mood of the game. If they make the teams angry at each other and increase hitting... im for them and enjoy the fights. But if its just ass hats that only fall to ground and disrupt the flow of the game i get annoyed by them. -------------------- |

Hey I said I wasn't voting because I couldn't decide either way. That only makes 3 people (including you) who have posted opinions in this thread. I like hockey, but not for the fighting. Is it an extra "haha"? Sure, but that's not why I like it. So, as stated before, I refrain from casting a ballot.
