I just bought an Itunes giftcard and bought an album on my desktop Itunes.

Is there any way to access my purchased itunes library from my Iphone? And yes I'd check myself but I can't get wifi here

I only use Itunes when I can't find a cd. I can't find Fu Manchu: Go For It....Live! anywhere in this town.

Plus Torrentstorm keeps giving my computer the blue screen of death and truck eats my cd's

It isn't an issue with Torrentstorm, it's an issue with one of the Nirvana Discographies that's a virus that automatically starts downloading when I try to open TS. I can't keep TS open long enough before it trainwrecks. If you don't believe me I'll find the file name for you and you can try it out yourself. Tried it on someone else's comp and it gave them the same virus (whoops). I'm too lazy to redownload TS since I'm getting a new computer anyway and this one is a pos

You should be able to upload them to your iPhone as long as you're doing so from a computer that's authorized by the account that you put it on.

What's interesting to me is that people equate the $1 itunes song to equal 1 song from a purchased CD. IMHO they're not equal at all. When I purchase a CD I'm getting the full, uncompressed audio. An mp3, aac, or whatever itunes uses is compressed nearly 90%. Granted, on joe six pack's $30 mp3 player, he may not really notice or care, but you're still paying the same amount for 90% less data. If they offered 50MB uncompressed audio tracks for $1, I'd be all over it.

Yeah I was laughing at the fact that he bought music from Itunes. I agree with what you said, I'll still buy a CD if I know beforehand that it's good, or if it's from one of my favorite artists. Then I'll just eac rip that junt.

Not to mention that more of the revenues of it go to the artists, who make next to nothing off digital downloads.

It's not just iTunes. smile.gif

But to use iTunes as an example, Apple only takes 20 cents of every song. All the rest of that money goes to the labels and the record company.

In comparison though, a place like Best Buy only makes about 5% on each CD sold.

Yeah. They're both pretty good. They just have different uses.

I'd say WM is better for the person that wants to be able to hack the hell out of their phone. It's also a much better business/productivity phone.

The iPhone is better for someone who wants to use their phone more for personal/entertainment purposes.
