So this kid calls the home of the COO of the county schools because school wasn't canceled even though there was snow. The wife calls the kid back and bashes him a little. He posts the audio on Facebook and other places and gives out the employee's phone number. He's quoted as saying "I was just exercising my right to free speech" which I disagree with, his right to free speech impeded on another's right to privacy. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

I don't think his initial call was *terribly* out of line. He said that he tried to reach the guy at work first. However, posting the return call + phone number on facebook, youtube, etc. was harassment.

Well, I agree that he shouldn't have crossed that line, but I wouldn't truly consider it a violation of privacy. A bit rude, yes, but that's about it. It's neither a free speech nor a privacy issue, just a matter of common courtesy.
