The way most state "age of sexual consent" laws are written, this would be a valid interpretation. Both individuals would be offenders and victims. However, I doubt that there are many cases that are actually prosecuted like that.

The judge summed it up pretty well with: QUOTE By passing that law, legislators were sending a message: Sex with or among children is unacceptable.

I agree that these kids should be punished (would be nice if the parents would do their job), but to label them sex offenders? sheesh that's kinda harsh. Im assuming that will fall off their record when they turn 18 though
