QUOTE
HANOVER, N.H. -- The leading Democratic White House hopefuls conceded Wednesday night they cannot guarantee to pull all U.S. combat troops from Iraq by the end of the next presidential term in 2013.

"I think it's hard to project four years from now," said Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois in the opening moments of a campaign debate in the nation's first primary state.

"It is very difficult to know what we're going to be inheriting," added Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York.

Wow, that doesn't sound at all like the horse shit they were spewing a few months ago clamoring on and on and on and on about how only Democrats can get us out of hte war, and how there needs to be immediate troop withdrawls, blah blah blah.

So in other words what this means is, they've been playing politics with the whole thing even moreso than the party that got us into this mess.

I pity all the people who are going to vote Democrat this election based on the sole fact that they think they're going to "end the war" and then we'll wind up with a cluster fucked socialized health care policy and god only knows what other horse shit after 4 years of their puke sad.gif

i guess the one good thing is that it shows the demos aren't stupid enough to try to pull all the troops out. i still cringe at the thought of another demo controlled pres/congress combo.

I was thinking the same thing when I read that article last night. I'm pretty sure ALL the Dems were promising they would get the troops out within their first year or within months of their presidency. Now they're saying they can't guarantee within 4 years?! wtf.
it's like it doesn't matter anymore who you vote for.

i stopped pretending that i will vote for democrats anymore...no one stands for shit that i care about anymore, and pretty much every politician is saying shit i dont want them to do.

i think its a fucking terrible idea to pull out....and any democrat who pretends they can and demand it, i wont vote for.

i think its a bad idea as well, but they should've said that from the beginning instead of saying over and over "lets get them out now!"

This is nothing new.

The Dems could have gotten us out of Iraq some time ago if they really wanted to... They're just playing the Iraq card so that they can win the presidential election.

Hence why I usually vote for Nader
