Microsoft extends the time XP will be available.

Honestly, I think they should have just focused on evolving XP instead of making Vista. Either that or switch to an open source format like Apple did.

The 32GB SD cards make my jaw drop.

I've seen a few people running their laptops on 32GB solid state harddrives and was amazed so I'm looking forward to these doozies.

bwahah you wish. i'm still working on it for now, still need to do seasons 1 & 2. I actually own all the DVDs and have been ripping them and other stuff. a few of the episdoes wouldn't rip properly... dunno why but the aspect ratio would be wrong.

anyhow I want to build out a media center PC that actually has some media that I use on it. I will probably set up some FTP access once I build that separate comp. will let you know.

Canon files a patent for a fuel-cell based DSLR camera

fuel cells in portable consumer electronics... now this is a neat step forward IMHO.

SSDs keep getting more storage, faster, with more features, and cheaper:
http://www.engadget.com/2008/08/15/ocz-sta...series-v2-ssds/
new OCZ 2.5" SSDs with 30/60/120/250 GB and speeds up to 170MBps/98MBps read/write. These things are the future for sure.
