according to russians on digg.com (where i got the link) the pics are all soviet propaganda pics that were printed in magazines that portrayed everything as peachy when it really wasn't

That is one of the mainstay bomber types... The other one is this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tupolev_Tu-160

there needs to be a new word that is half english and half russian..

I nominate this word to be "slelve"

I dont know what english and russian words make up this word, but I'm sure there are words in both languages that could make up this word and have it mean something.
