well, yeah, i got that; but the way it popped up....it minimized all my screens and then maximized them when i exited it. im guessing i should run a scan for malware, adaware, spyware?

Probably not necessary, as long as you didn't click on the ad, but you can certainly do an adware scan to be on the safe side.

I already said I knew what it was. Jesus People. I was typing the post right before I left and didnt finish what I was saying and just posted. The damn pop-up was 2 in one. First, this one thing came up that minimized everything else. It was a fake windows alert. Then, When I x'd that out, that popped up in my browser and all my other screen maximized again. I just thought it was odd because I havent had an add do that before.
