So a friend and I are thinking about getting a two-bedroom loft in downtown Dallas. Any thoughts on downtown?

depends on what you like to do. I lived downtown on main st for about 8 months when my architect buddies and I were tearing up this old building and making them into lofts. I liked it, but then again I like kinda seedy shit.
"downtown" in the evenings and on weekends is pretty dead. you have west end, but uh no thanks. deep ellum is close to dt, so if you like that scene your gold. but even that gets old. the bums pissing on the sidewalk outside your door kinda gets old, but hanging of the rooftop or fire escapes and drinking beer and checking shit out is pretty rad (to me). where exactly are these lofts? they've recently developed some REALLY nice ones that I went to this modeling shoot in. |
