I figured this would be a great way for people to bitch about goings on, or at least, felt compelled to share with others my so far shitty ass day.
So I start on my way to work this morning, some nasty ass storms down here. It's a slow drive of course, rain coming down like a mof'n car wash. I'm drivin along and BAM lightning hits I swear within 10 ft of my truck. sounded like a f'n explosion. soon after I hear the sound of the highway and water, look back and my left rear window is missing (with the rain still comin down like crazy), and my radio has fizzled out, gauge cluster lights out, ABS & parking brake lights are on, rear window controls don't work. so i pull over and the window isnt broken, just down in the jam somehow, like the pressure from the strike broke a support or somethin. so i call work and tell em, then head out to a dealership, get on the highway and blam, big ass rock chip in my windshield (in my less than a year old truck). so i drop it off at the dealership, get a courtesy ride to work, sit down at work, start typin, and water starts drippin on my f'n hand, friggin roof is leaking right over my damn desk. anyways... that's my wonderful first few hours of the day. i'll add to the thread again later when i break my leg or lose my wallet or something. have a nice f'n day. and feel free to add your own wonderful happenings of your day. |

Its nice. I help people get their house all pretty and stuff. Im just not pleased with the whole bitch cleaning assignment oh and I wasnt let go per se. They asked me if I like it there and I flat out told them "no, i hate it" then they said "well, you should fine something else." and I said "great" |

so apparently the lightning KIA'd the ABS sensor, gauge cluster, radio, and locked the left rear window controls to always attempt to roll the window down, and the right side to always roll them up. hence why they wouldn't move. oh well its covered under warranty. guess it coulda been worse... like sparks in the gas tank or somethin.

ive been in some tough situations but ive had my most stressing during college. getting a huge pile of work done with only 20 minutes to lose and then waiting 30 minutes for your email to work to me is way more stressing then fighting a group of suburban white kids with a group of hobos and only being able to arm yourself with trashcans
that being said WHY THE FUCK WONT MY EMAIL FUCKING SEND THIS SON OF A BITCH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH stupid fucking powerpoint poster that means i cant get any help from my group partners doing this and beyond this point i dont have a clue what im doing so I'M the one thatll look like a douchebag -------------------- Little monkeys making money

damn. isnt this a brand new car that you got because your last one was totalled? or am i mistaken? you are not mistaken, and i am much more pissed about this because i'm making payments! it's just a lease, and i guess i can turn it in at the end of the term with up to $2500 in damage without a problem, but this is crap that it happened so early. Will insurance cover the damage?...Or will it just be more practical for you to pay? Either way, time for you to hunt some kids like the murdering boogeyman that you are! eh, i would like to choose the first one, but i just ordered some touch-up paint from the mazda dealer. i know that stuff doesn't look nearly as good as a full paint job, i just don't want it to chip any more or rust. i'm kinda glad that i stopped before i caught one of them because this has been the most stressful past two weeks of my life. i probably would have just unleashed on whoever i caught first (they were like 12-13 year olds) |

so I changed the topic to "tell us about your day" so it will include bitching and good days
I had a terrible day so far. They called in a company meeting today at 11:30, to tell us about how sales had done well, but not as well as they'd hoped, and that our bonus from it would only be an extra 1/2 a paycheck instead of 1 or 2x a paycheck. After this horrible news, we were forced to a room where there was a full buffet of pappasitos fajitas and fixings. Then it got even worse, I had to eat pretty fast, as we had to hurry up and get out to the local gun range for a couple of hours. And some asshole there made us watch and listen as he shot his barrett .50 cal. Man I just don't know if this day could get any worse. |

A mixed day...I worked as a substitute teacher today for a high school in Katy ISD. The first few classes, those little fuckers wouldnt calm down! They just kept trying to take advantage of having a sub. One girl tried to trap me with questions. The rest of the day was pretty good....as I got into the higher grades they were more calm and actually listened. Overall, a good day...but dunno if I will be doing math much more.

yesterday I found out that someone stole my credit card and spent almost $500 on it in the matter of 2 days. I guess it could have been worse. Weird thing is, the card was still in my purse AND there were purchases at Chevron, Albertsons, Party City, and some restaurant. Explain that one to me. I dont even use that card anymore ...weird

? Are you saying they made a new credit card after they mag read it? Because you HAVE TO HAVE THE CREDIT CARD IN HAND to use it at those places. yes, or, quite possibly scammed the CC company into sending them a card (i.e. calling in claiming to be you and ordering a new card to a diff address somehow). |

yes that is what i'm saying. how about you check your credit report and not be a retard. I already did, asshole. In the past 5 months, I have only used that card once...at a sports card store I frequent often. I know how this happened. I just wanted to see if any of you fuckers could figure it out. No offense, you may have a personal finance degree so you feel special, but I know A LOT about CC theft, checking and savings accounts, investing, social security fraud, etc. |

I would assume this is how it happened: Stupid fucking credit card companies send those stupid fucking balance transfer checks that can be used anywhere. They send them 6 at a time.... 6 transactions were made. I keep these checks in a safe place in my apt. I would assume the idiot mailman misdelivered them to one of my white trash/ghetto minority neighbors and they had a party on me.

I had my check card info stolen and used in sothern cali last month... check card...so the fuckers had direct access to my bank account, which doesn't suck too bad. they blew about 1200 in two days before I noticed it. my bank is rad though and I got all that shit back...after filling out a mountain of paperwork. I hate theives... |

i had my identity stolen 2 years ago when some collector agency working for walmart called me up and told me my check bounced from some washington bank and i owed them 200+ dollars. I laughed at them, since I had proof I was out of the country the day the check was used, but anyways, had to call up the washington bank and deal with that crap

I would assume this is how it happened: Stupid fucking credit card companies send those stupid fucking balance transfer checks that can be used anywhere. They send them 6 at a time.... 6 transactions were made. I keep these checks in a safe place in my apt. I would assume the idiot mailman misdelivered them to one of my white trash/ghetto minority neighbors and they had a party on me. doubtful. I was working with the DPD fraud and ID theft detectives for a week and this is how it likely went down... go to a restaurant, dickweed waiter has a scanner/reader that gets all your info off the card. sells info to some black market tool, they then print new cards with that info, then they sell those cards out. a nationwide sting went down just two or three weeks ago busting one of these rings...they got people in florida, new york, cali, and (maybe?) texas. it was all over CNN.com |

yes. it's been rampant as of late. I know it can happen, but Ive only used the card once in the past 4 months at a card shop my friend owns. I go there all the time and he never did that before. Him and his son are the only ones that work there. I had my social security number stolen before...that was "fun"... had to sit in an interrogation room when I went to get my driver's licence renewed. |

I dont think even you know what youre talking about. no, i'm pretty aware of what's going on. |

oh and Ive never used that card at an ATM. That card is only 6 months old. A majority of the balance is a transfer from another CC and then there was 3 other purchases...like I said...over 4 months ago. All these fraudulent charges happened last weekend

identity theft doesn't have to be instantaneous.
somebody tried to access information from an account that my parents had in denver and we haven't lived there since 2002. |

Since that card is only 6 months old and I have never really used it, your mag strip nonsense is pretty unlikely |

why in the fuck would someone have the technology to read strips on credit cards and then use the CC at places like Chevron, Albertsons, and Party City? Sounds to me like a Mexican got a hold of those checks, Mr. Know-it-all

Im not saying a boat, but I would think that it would be something a little more extravagant (sp) than fucking beer from Chevron, some party favors from Party City, and some chips and salsa at Albertsons para la fiesta de los Mexicanos. |

Sounds to me like a Mexican got a hold of those checks, Mr. Know-it-all re-read what the cops told me...the person with the card scanner isn't the person using the cards. that is their side job if you will. the person using the cards is someone who bought the card from the racket guys. I had purchases made at mcdonald's, walmart, and sally beauty supply. I highly doubt that person was the techno mastermind behind my card theivery... |

meh, you probably just got lucky. they may have tried to buy something better but were denied or asked for ID or something. the Party City charge got denied. The CC company told me all the places they tried to use the card. I just found it odd that it was exactly 6 charges and those checks come 6 to a sheet. That makes sense, Cupcake. I guess I didnt read your whole post |

my 12 yr old jack russel just kicked this dogs ass. it ran up to her and was growling and trying to start shit (one of those long haired yappy little dogs) and she jumped it and had it whining and us screaming. two little girls had the dog on a leash and it ran from them at stella. i told them to take it to their parents and see if its okay. stella doesnt have any blood on her but damn she had that little dog. i couldnt get her off of it
im expecting some mexican mother to be looking for me. oh shit but stella has never done that before, numerous occasions shes met random other dogs and is always the nice one no matter how much they jump on her and play. can i call it self defense? if the little girls tell their mom how it went down id expect to not hear from the woman. its not stellas fault the thing ran at her growling -------------------- Little monkeys making money
Naked monkey looking funny Mighty males are strong and free Female monkey, not so lucky Rocking monkeys, funky monkeys Monkeys sticking other monkeys Monkeys wrong or monkeys right Mostly flexing monkey might |
