the news tonight said Peter Pan or Great Value Peanut Butter with the number on the lid starting with 2111 could be contaminated with salmonella. normally i'm like blah whatever, but i actually had one, so if you're in lubbock, chances are you have one too.
on a funny side note: Peter Pan = Great Value (heheh must come from the same factory) |

We had two cases of this stuff at the market, sad thing is we have had the stuff since April and some people have eaten from it. We pulled it yesterday.

my grandmother called me and told me about this a couple of days ago.
apparently, everyone i know in texas who has this type of peanut butter has the 2111 on it. also, they still do not have any proof that the peanut butter is contaminated with salmonella or at least that is what they are saying. tee hee http://www.conagrafoods.com/brands/big_mam...usage/index.jsp This post has been edited by TetraGrammaton Cleric: Feb 16 2007, 11:58 PM |

all you have to do is look at the label to figure out if the store actually produced it. It will say manufactured for wal-mart (etc). 9 times out of ten that is the case.
