now lets watch as a possible readily available cure is squandered in science-politics, and horded by the government so that only the rich can benifit.

Greed will keep this from being available in the places it is needed.

that's wonderful

now if they can find a way to adapt a fish digestive enzyme to kill the bird flu inside of a human patient without any major side effects...

its just the enzyme. dunno how much it digests.

it will probably only take a little refinement.

i wonder if they will test it on birds first.

what are the implications of this? Perhaps many other viruses can be dispatched using enzymes...

A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?
