The Fog of War is one of the best movies I've ever seen. McNamara goes through and talks about his experiences in WWII (statistical analysis) and how that shaped policy in Vietnam. He comes very close to apologizing for his actions and decisions.

If there is ever a movie that talks about "The American Dream: Debt" then I think it would win.

A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

Loose change, interesting theory and concept, but it was REALLY fucking boring. I guess that is what happens when you make a movie on absolutely no budget, fancy effects, or any real journalistic integrity at all...

because this article was written by an idiot.

"It’s also amazing to me how few people have seen most of these these films even the “popular” ones."

"While some box office analysts were predicting that Warner Bros.' V for Vendetta would emerge as the first big blockbuster of the year, it opened instead with an estimated $26.1 million -- a V for valiant effort, but hardly explosive. The film, written and produced by the Wachowski brothers, took in about $2 million less than their original Matrix did in 2000 and was the fourth-highest opening of the year." --20 March 2006 (StudioBriefing)

it did not do amazingly, but i would still say it did well.

Pretty sure his question still stands, why wouldn't they want you to see it?

because some could interpret the movie as promoting the bombing of government or historical buildings.

On another level, its the ending of an ideal forced upon people.
