I really thought OSU would come into this game much stronger than they did...

It really didn't help when the QB threw that horrible flying glob of shit excuse for a pass, about 5 feet over the head of his open receiver for what would have been a definite touchdown.

Oh, he was running so his accuracy was off ? Bullshit, he was running but it was still an easy pass to make.


Then when they ran that screen where Reid looked left then quickly whipped right and decided "hmm, i see 3 UT defenders around my receiver, i better follow through with this screen !".

Rather incredible !


UT is like battletoads in real life/ football form. If you make the slightest mistake, your asshole is about to be served to you on a platter.

UT's running game is pathetic. Charles and Young averaged about 2.9 ypc.

Colt McCoy will probably win Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, and will likely enter the 2007 as pre-season first-team All-Big 12. That being said, I could garner similar accolades behind the Longhorn offensive line with Limas Sweed, Quan Cosby, Billy Pittman, Jermichael Finley et al to throw to.

I'm all for McCoy. I really think it's a bit easy for any qualified QB to be given lots of glory with such a team, but I honestly believe that McCoy could be playing with a lesser team and still turning heads.

He's got a long road ahead of him, I really wonder how long it is until the coaches tell him he may need to take it down a notch. When he runs he isn't scared at all to take the hit like a champ. Hell he even blocked one of the OSU badasses on that reverse !?

That's definately fun to watch, but how much can you let him do that ? Keep that boy healthy. Don't be surprised when you see him truly lead this team to a national championship in the next few years.


That youtube posted video of all the bad calls, while I agree that the majority of those are bad calls....get over it. Tech will never be taken seriously or given any real respect. That's fine. Brush it off and just play the next game. If you watch an entire game in instant replay, boy oh boy what you may find.

It is definately worth mentioning though....that 4th quarter, last 2.5 minutes pass interference call........seriously....what the jewfuck was that ?

At work one of the huge UT fans was really on the fence about the UT/Tech game. This was before the game. During one of our many conversations on the exciting matchup he made the comment of "well, overall Texas has that series at 44-12." (those #'s may be a little off, but you get the idea, UT has dominated the series). I simply then asked him "yeah....but you tell me which games you remember and think about the most ?"


Go Tech ! I don't need any national championship or anything, I just want to see Tech have one season (in the very near future) where they can at least be Big XII champions, and get a shot in a solid BCS bowl.

Oh, and beat Colorado, and Mizzou. Bastards !

good. i think they handled the situation perfectly and admirably. they asked the NCAA to explain the calls, and didn't call any attention to it. thank God there was no loser OU move like the prez of the university asking them to take the game off the record.
