Well how the hell did the viruses get on there? It sounds as though the viruses were on the ipods when they shipped, which subsequently infected users' computers when they synched them.

Well it says it's on "less than one percent of video iPods shipped after Sept. 12". If it was a computer -> ipod deal, why would it only be on those ipods? And why would it matter, since the virus only affects Windows?

As for the viruses, it might interest you to know that most of the them attack Microsoft Office for Mac. -------------------- All the bells and whistles, photo copy parts, and crap can not cover up weaknesses.

Considering they left the manufacturer with the virus, I am not sure it even deserves attention (1% of all 5G iPods). Apple should be all over the manufacturer.

McDonalds of Japan actually just went through this same problem, although i think it may have been spyware instead of virii, i forget.
