Has anyone actually used dreamhost? I'm considering using them and I've heard all sorts of good reviews about them. On the other hand, they're notorious for overselling and I've heard all kinds of horror stories about oversellers.

used them for 4 years and haven't paid a single penny because i have 3 people that i referred. i have unlimited domains and a ton of space. never had any downtime either.

They're pretty good...

i've used http://www.crystaltech.com/ for a couple years now, they have some nice MS plans (ASP.NET 2.0 / MS-SQL) if you're into that stuff.
