I have less sympathy to white collar crime than blue collar. I was watching msnbc today and they were talking about how sending these men to jail was cruel and unusual. Fucking white collar crime usually spurs on more blue collar crime, and it does hurt people.

plus white collar crime is usually a crime of want...whereas those "blue collar" crimes are often dictated by situational necessity. I'm pretty sure the enron execs didn't pull this shit because the baby needed pampers, you know? |

If you are christian than the parable of the old widow giving all she had was much greater than the merchants giving large amounts.
