Are there a lot of freak storms here at this time of the year?! I love it! Although, I was getting ready for a BF42 clan-war and the power went out for a while and something is wrong with my internet.

it was raining sideways and still sunny out earlier

There are freak storms in Lubbock all year long. Rain, snow, dust. Sometimes in rapid succession.

I think it was in my 3rd year or so at Tech that we had one day where it was like 77 outside, I wore shorts to class in the middle of the afternoon, then by like 7pm it was snowing like, blizzard conditions and we ended up with something like 8" of accumulation.

yea, that happened earlier this year. no clouds in the sky, went swimming, washed the car, super hot shorts weather. by dinner time, it was snowing

i think it's everywhere that thinks their weather is absurd.
I used to think lubbock weather was insane, and then I came here and they say the exact same thing. the mountains screw everything up. we're having almost daily evening tornadoes now. and not just over the plains. weird. -------------------- Don't sweat the petty, pet the sweaty.
