Nah, the clothes aren't from anything specific. We got married at Scarborough Renaissance Festival, though. I have no idea what Jim's wedding plans are, as I haven't talked to him in months (maybe even a year now?), but he did meet his fiance via WoW. -------------------- |

I don't play WoW. I guess what I said was part of wow. I was thinking more on the lines of slaying a dragon and the cleric performing the marriage blessed by a good/lawful God. -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!

Haha, no. No dragon, black knight, cleric, or God. Marriage was performed by the town magistrate, though we could have chosen from some religious characters as well.

Wedding was about 4k, garb was 1k (could've gone a lot cheaper, but we got stuff we knew we could wear again), rings were $700 total. But seeing as how we're getting nearly $20k in cash, plus other gifts, it paid for itself many times over...

You probably already explained this somewhere on Techsans... how did you and your husband meet, at a renaissance festival? We met & dated in high school. Broke up, didn't talk for nearly five years, then got back together when I moved to Austin. -------------------- |

First pic is my dad & step-mother.
Second (folks in tan) are Chris' parents. Third is my mom & step-father (older dude with the beard). Woman in green is Chris' sister and Sabertooth is her husband. I'm totally forwarding this thread to them... lol. Folks in blue (non-Rennie) are my step-brother and his gf. This post has been edited by Spectatrix: May 10 2009, 09:31 AM -------------------- |

i wanna know more about sabertooth what doies he do for a living? what the hell is that thing on his shirt? is that his normall appearance, or did he design it for the ren-fair? Hahaha. He's a programmer/researcher, can't remember what the thing on his shirt is, and long hair + muttonchops is his normal appearance. Settle down geezus. I didn't even see that pic somehow. Gah she does look just like her mom... Her new hubby looks like he's about to lose his lunch in that pic Did he have a staff or axe or what on his back? I'm taller, though. And weigh less. Chris had a staff, but our best man had a Claymore. ![]() Chris was supposed to have a bow, but it didn't get here in time (apparently three months isn't long enough?).
