I had surgery a few days ago and was prescribed hydrocodone. I've never taken it but I know its a favorite of teenage dirtbags looking to get fucked up

I'm extremely paranoid about taking pills. I don't even like taking Tylenol. What happens if I take a hydrocodone? Am I gonna freak out or anything?

Well it was for a root canal. I didn't feel bad afterwards and told em I didn't need codone but they gave it to me anyway

it's a pain reliever

i took it when i had my teeth pulled

as long as you don't drink while on it, you'll prolly just fall asleep pain free.

i was told to only take it for a couple days and then switch to IB

doesn't do anything. it's literally just like advil or tylenol. and makes you constipated. i'd recommend just taking advil.

Don't listen to these clowns, it's a decently effective pain reliever. It'll throw off your motor skills and make you sleepy. Don't drive within 4 hrs or so of taking it. It won't make you trip balls or anything, though. If you're taking it for more than a couple of days, take a stool softener along with it, since it'll make you constipated.

I've currently got two prescriptions containing hydrocodone in my medicine cabinet... one as a precaution after I got out of the hospital w/ abdominal pain and one for after my surgery tomorrow.

It makes you feel like majorly hungover if you take it every 6 hours for a few days. Only take it when you feel pain coming on or if you want to eat a big meal. Take it like 45 minutes before a meal. That's what they gave me when I broke my hand and when I had my tonsils taken out. You should remember how shitty I felt when I took that stuff. That's when we lived together. It is minorly addictive and it will give you constipation (never happened to me, but it's happened to every guy I know that has ever taken the stuff)

You know what, in my opinion, is just as effective and you don't get the nasty side affects? Prescription ibuprofin. It's 800 mg. So just find ibuprofin at the store and take 800 mgs worth. It will probably be about 3-4 pills. Only take that every 8 hours though. All that hydrocodone is is a really high dose of acetametiphine (what they use in tylenol). You can take those every 4-6 hours. My husband was given both prescription ibuprofin and hydrocodone when he had his wisdom teeth removed 3 weeks ago.

That stuff didnt do anything. I took one then another 45 minutes later. Nothing other than making me kinda tired. Might have been useful when I had a tooth abscess and I was in so much pain that I couldnt sleep for three days straight. What exactly is the allure of this stuff?

Oh and I took one at 12:15 and one at 1. Will it be out of my system by 7 or whenever the game starts? I dont wanna drink on pills

That's the amount of acetaminophen in it, not hydrocodone. The HC is usually 5, 7.5 or 10 mg. Sounds like you got Norco, which is the low-acetominophen stuff.

hydroco/apap tab 10-325 mg is what it says. So I guess 10

I wanna take some laxatives and hydrocodone and see which one 'wins'

it affects everyone differently. The AC will hurt your liver if you drink with it. HC has a chace of stopping your heart with lots of alcohol. It makes me feel less pain, but feel bad after being on it for a couple of days.

All I know is that I didn't want to take it because it made me feel like I had drank a whole bottle of vodka... this happening after being on it for two days. On the other hand, I wanted to eat so badly but the only way to even somewhat tolerate eating was by taking a vikodin. It was a bitch. NEVER get your tonsils removed after age 10. I was 21 when I got it done, and it was so freakin painful.

The crash sucked. Felt like all I wanted to do was go to sleep. I guess for pain it's good, but as a recreational drug it sucks

When taken with alcohol the effects of euphoria are heightened albeit extremely dangerous given the added acetaminophen. Opiates effect everyone differently... at increased dosages there is extreme euphoria and of course drowsiness.
