Texas Tech upset the sooners at home last year.
While i would love for tech to win... I don't see them pulling it out in Norman. The sooners are out for revenge and an upset of their own after last year. OU 42 TTU 35 why? why would you lowball tech like that? i mean sure OU is tough but dammit did you see how they played tonight? there's nothing that can interfere with drives like that...nothing -------------------- "Ah, y'know it's funny, these people they go to sleep, they think everything's fine, everything's good. a loss to OU is not the end of the world...
That is the monster that is the big 12 And i said it in another thread but here it is again... OU beats us and then manages to lose to OSU... -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. it would be great, but im not getting my hopes up.
like jason said, i could realistically see us losing to OU (hey, its in freakin norman...) and then hopefully OU would lose to OSU. yeah we'd be out of the nat'l championship discussion, but we'd still go to the Big 12 title game, and that's something we've never done. worse case scenario, we go to the cotton bowl and play LSU or Florida or something. -------------------- ![]() |

i don't know about alabama being 1st still...i mean sure they're a pretty damn good team but i think OSU was a tougher game for tech than lsu was for alabama...
tech would have to jump to #1 after beating oklahoma -------------------- "Ah, y'know it's funny, these people they go to sleep, they think everything's fine, everything's good. They wake up the next day and they're on fire."

It comes down to our D vs theirs. Both offenses will move the ball. I can't see them getting pressure on Harrell without using extra men which Harrell will exploit. Can we get pressure on Bradford? I've been pleasantly surprised by Tech's D the last 3 games.

Being at Norman is the key to this game. Tech played KU away and dominated, but this is a true top ten team AT thier house. I think Tech can win but its not going to be easy. Our D is going to have to play the best game of the year.

After being so negative towards TTU football for forever, (hey you would too if you lived in LBK for the Spike Dikes era and interminable 6-6 seasons) this year has given me hope to believe in Tech football. I am not going to short change them anymore. We WILL win and we are going to go undefeated and we WILL win the national title. just call this a reverse-jinx...

Oddly enough if Oklahoma state wins we could still go to the big 12 championship. We just played like utter shit last night and Oklahoma got their revenge. I'll tip my hats to them, they played with a lot of passion and we played with zero as their defense just pushed around our offensive line. Crabtree could not pick up passes that he normally would. Plus we still have to beat Baylor. If we played like we did last night Baylor will beat us.

Oddly enough if Oklahoma state wins we could still go to the big 12 championship. Okie state is not going to beat the Oklahoma team we played last night. Hell, I don't even think Texas could beat the Oklahoma team we played last night. They played like a championship team, and we played like a little league team, plain and simple. I'm not going to say that we aren't a good team, because we are good, we just aren't the best. (and we break down real easy when the going gets tough) -------------------- FUCK YOU

We broke down emotionally and mentally. We came off of a high tide of media attention and lost our focus, while OU came to play the game. We beat them last year at home and destroyed their championship dreams so they did the exact same thing to us this year.
And your right if the same OU team plays OSU they will lose but we will see. Luckily the game is in stillwater. Aaron I don't think that's fair. yeah the team broke down but you can hardly call a 10-1 season lame. Normally we would have already lost 3 or 4 games with two of those losses coming from crap non conference teams. This year our only loss so far is to a top ranked team in their HOME stadium. I think we would have all rather had Tech actually come out and play in Norman but i'm still proud of their accomplishments this year.
