my favorite is the one where you're centered on the floating ball
i wrapped the ball with wheels so it hugged it tight, then created a multi joint arm attached to the pink ball that extended as the wheels spun around the ball -------------------- |

I think I found a way of making it go faster. Or at the very least, more power. Take 5 wheels that spin the same way and set them up in a top-down view of a tetrahedron. Then connect the exterior vertices in the center and the center vertex to all exterior vertices at the same point. Trying to find a way to pry that damn ball out of the way in The Big Ball.

not that hard, build a wedge pole, that will fall down in front of you, don't make it too long though. then, train several wheels together. on the bottom of each wheel, connect a water bar to the same spot of the wheel next to it. when these spin, they resemble the way train wheels connect to each other, and that water bar will help know the big ball out of the way, after the wedge managed to get under it. once you get under the ball, it's all easy

Think you have to pay the $10 for the game, too.
Ok, I gave it more power by linking eight wheels together and I think it's going to get it. Prob take about 5 mins to finally penetrate though. -------------------- Spam? Isn't that something poor people eat?

i played this on a .swf site that was a slight varient of this one a couple weeks back. i just tried my same design, and had the same problem as james, it just doesn't have the power. the version i played wasn't as detailed, but the wheels had more torque, they kept spining the same speed no matter what you had attached to them. the monstertruck wheels i made for the stairs still work fine, but my catapult design is a total failure now... sad.

Got it! After perusing some designs, I found a way to launch it in there before the ball even dropped. Chain a bunch of power wheels together when drop a long wood rod on top with the red rectangle at the far right end.
wat? Think "Black Hole." Everything that could be moved was sucked into my contraption. Known bug. -------------------- Spam? Isn't that something poor people eat?

you can wedge the big ball up, just takes a lot of tries. you use the clockwise wheels, train them together for the base, then train together the counter-clockwise wheels on top to push the ball up.
I really wish they had a 3d application of this or something other than SWF, I've spent the last hour trying to build some fancy stuff and it bogs big time when you put a lot of stuff on the screen. |

If you want to see the black hole, just put a lot of rods in the game. Pretty much, just put 10 wheels and connect every node over every wheel to every node of every other wheel then hit start.
I did a conveyor belt for Four Balls, but it was slightly different. The next one is a little challenging. I took a CW wheel and made it wrap a wood chain around it a few times before it rolled off the edge. The CW wheel had a counter-balance of a Free wheel to make the chain snap out as it was going over the edge. -------------------- Spam? Isn't that something poor people eat?

ok, serious question, what did ya'll do on the Tube? i've gotta a good way to plug the bottom, but i need some help on getting the ball to the top. i've been close, VERY close, actually, but it never quite makes it, and dicking with the design on what i thought improved it ended up ruining it.
and just to show everyone my frustration:: ![]() it got about 1/4 inch higher than that, and then fell. -------------------- |

Plug the bottom. Put a CCW Ball perfectly on the left wall, put a CW Ball perfectly on the right wall, connect the two with a perfectly horizontal wooden rod. Hit start. You can let the little ball fall onto the platform.

The tube took me forever because I did it without realizing the bottom of the tube had that little edge sticking off of it. The way I did it didn't use that edge. I did two opposite facing wheels like brandon did, but then I used two opposite ones underneath those which pushed against a pair of wooden bars which in effect jammed the first two wheels against the walls. worked great.

dude train your wheels man i did that originally as well, but i guess something in my design was too ridged, because the loop is actually thinner than the straight hall, and got wedged. i simply too the design and started tweeking it by removing beams and giving it flexibility where it needed it. (the first time i beat it i just slung it over the left edge) -------------------- |

yes there are more levels, harder versions of the same ones
if you beat the level it lets you see a couple of the most voted designs, but if you pay the $10 it lets you link your designs to others and you can modify/mess with them/watch them work. |

you can build a tank with a sharp wedge and nudge it up. I saw some people did like that dragster I did above and shot it in there before the ball fell.

This may sound stupid but how do you beat the level with the large ball falling off of the ledge blocking the goal? i used the red rectangle as a wedge ( why else would they make it so thin?) and just trained several layers of wheels together, and it pushed it up. i had to be patient, because my wheels weren't trained properly, but it got in there. -------------------- |

So really, how do you beat the Down Under level? I made a catapult with a chain, attached, then let it act like a pendilum when it comes back. I tried many different ways, today and it seems to be the only one that worked for me. I had time today to finish the levels. I'd buy the game, but don't need more time sucked away by this! -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!
