Person 1: Drinks nearly every night. Drinks heavily on the weekend, has a few beers during the weeknights, but never drinks and drives and never acts any differently than he does when sober
Person 2: Only drinks about three nights a week. Spends the rest of the week eating healthy and working out. When he does drink, he gets smashed and acts like an arrogant jackass, picking on people, starting shit with people at the bar, and just generally acting like a complete douche. Also drives drunk and rarely remembers it. Doesn't remember anything the next morning. Who would you consider has more of an alcohol problem? Remember in terms of total alcohol consumed, #1 drinks far more alcohol in a given week than #2 --------------------   |

They both have an alchohol problem, it's just at varying levels of severity.
I used to be person #2. And did I ever think I had a problem? Not a chance in hell. Do I drink anymore? Rarley, and looking back on it, I realize .... yes, I did have a problem. I might have only drank 3 nights a week but I drank excessivley every single night. Just beacuse you work out doens't mean you don't have a problem. Honestly, getting a DUI was probably the best thing that ever happened to me as it finally (sort of) woke my stupid ass up .... I am lucky I'm alive basically. Bottom line is, if you drink to get drunk regularly you have an alchohol problem ... -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

Person number one is verging on alcoholism but at least they don't make other people suffer for that problem. However, he should quit drinking for the sake of his own health before it becomes even more of a problem.

He acts like an utter dipshit. He comes home and eats all our food, and uses the excuse he doesn't remember. He treats girls like shit. He picks fights with people. He runs his mouth to our friends and ends up with a black eye. Etc etc. Never cared because it never affected me. He ate my food once then learned his lesson the next time when I cooked sausage and used one of those black death XXX 100000 scoville hot sauces as baste. He learned real quick not to eat my food. Last week I met up with my friend at Fowler's and both of em were up there. I only stayed 15 minutes or so but found out the next day that 2 was picking on my friend and punching him for no reason. Just being a typical frat arrogant douche. Of course, 1 had to apologize to everyone and keep him in line from doing any stupid shit. He picked on him cause my friend is small and looks a bit odd. Partially due to the fact that he has a terminal disease that took away most of his muscle mass. He was just picking on him to be a jackass. Anyways I apologized to my friend the next day and told him if 2 started shit with him again I had his back. I don't care if I live with the guy or not. Last night I fell asleep at like 1130. Got woken up at 12:45 by 2, hammered, texting me saying he was gonna kick my ass for getting in the middle of it. I told him to fuck off and not start shit with my friends. Blah Blah Blah, he had no idea what he'd done the last time as usual. Finally fell back asleep at 130. Fifteen minutes later I get woken up by them stumbling in loud as hell. He tried to knock my door down to start shit, I told him it was the middle of the night and if he wants to start something tomorrow he knows where to find me. Of course he probably won't remember any of this today buy whatever. Oh and then he woke me up again at 6 being loud getting ready for work. I'm going on 4 hours of sleep and I got in bed before 11. He was picking on everyone last night, even some dude in a fucking wheelchair. About a dozen people wanted to kick his ass. Me and Jarrod are tired of babysitting him and apologizing. Next time, we'll just let him run his mouth till someone beats the shit out of him. It's embarrassing. Both of them drink too often and too much. But if you're 25 and still acting like a dumbshit when you drink, you have a drinking problem. I can write off a freshman doing that due to inexperience, but someone who's out of college and has a $50k/year job? Ridiculous -------------------- |

You have way too much drama in your life. I am a firm believer that drinking brings drama. Only drama I have had in the past year that didn't involve drinking was Stephanie trying to beat my ass when I was 7 months pregnant. Needless to say, I haven't spoken a word to that slut whore since. You need to learn to disassociate yourself with the drama. It's kind of relaxing.

Sounds a bit like my boyfriend.....
he has a drink every night....but its not just ONE drink....he makes like 3-4 drinks with vodka and sprite and juice. And he often drinks AFTER he's taken a tomazepam (to help put him to sleep.) I notice that we often have arguments when he's on this concoction and afterwards he forgets what he says. Last night we got into an argument and he said that I am always negative....I accidentally spat out, "I'm sorry that I'm not mister Jolly...I'm not liquored up all the time"

I still maintain that a girl can go without knowing she is pregnant until she is that far along, but it seems she does have motive. If a girl as an irregular period, it would be especially difficult for her to know she is pregnant unless she gets morning sickness or has reason to think she could have gotten pregnant. Like I said before, I didn't show at all until almost 7 months. When I was 9 months pregnant, people finally started to notice I was pregnant. They would ask me how far along I was, and I would tell them. They were shocked and usually thought I was around 5 months.
And Christine, I thought they only did abortions between 16-25 weeks under special circumstances. I know you can't get an abortion until you are 8 weeks pregnant. Edit: never mind. "D&E — dilation and evacuation — is another abortion method. D&E is usually performed later than 16 weeks after a woman's last period. Less than 1 out of 10 abortions in the United States happen during this time. After 24 weeks of pregnancy, abortions are performed only for serious health reasons." Before 16 weeks, you can take the abortion pill. |

Yeah, I looked it up because I thought abortions through the 2nd trimester were legal most places.
While it certainly is possible for a woman to be 5 months along before realizing she is pregnant, I don't think that's the norm. I think she'd have to be very out-of-touch with her body in order to be that obtuse. -------------------- |

eh... I hear of it happening. My mom didn't know she was pregnant with me until she was 4 months along. Young women just have this mentality of "it won't happen to me" when it comes to getting pregnant... especially women in their early 20's who aren't married or actively trying to bear children. Most women that age are out of that wild child phase and are in steady relationships. In my mom's case, she was married, but her husband didn't want kids at all. Needless to say, I have never met my birth father. I think women are in a state of denial... like they have an idea, but don't think it's really happening. I'm a borderline hypochondriac so I knew I was pregnant when I was only 3 weeks along haha. Well, I'm not really a hypochondriac, I just like to be in tune with what's happening to me.

Every girl I talked to says you know in a month. Or at least suspect enough to take a test. Hell, people were making wisecracks that it looked like she was pregnant three months ago. You could tell she was holding her stomach in. Sorry, people don't go from being in perfect shape to being chunky with a huge ass in the span of three months, especially if their diet and lifestyle doesn't change. Maybe she didn't know, but anyone with a lick of common sense could see enough warning signs to take a test. In fact, Jarrod pushed for her to take a test two months after she got pregnant and she said no because "she didn't think she was." Refusing to take a pregnancy test is ludicrous. I understand not wanting to be faced with the truth, but pregnancy isn't exactly a problem that goes away if you avoid it. What exactly is this abortion pill you speak of? Oh and I finally figured out why my roommate is a bully. He has huge insecurity and self esteem issues. I found this out because I went up to the bar a few nights ago and set with him and our friends. He doesn't say shit to me until he gets about five drinks in him and then he starts running his mouth threatening to kick my ass. I at first laughed it off, plus he was making a jackass of himself and everyone was laughing. Then he said something, I forgot what, that pissed me off. I told him to get the fuck up and let's go outside right now and settle this (knowing full well he'd back down). You know what he did? He lawyered up . Threatened to call his lawyer and sue me if I beat him up. Huh? Five seconds ago he was threatening to kick my ass and now I got in his face he's threatening to sue me? He likes having the upper hand and can't deal with it properly if someone steps up to him. He hates my girlfriend for the same reason. He'll talk shit to her and she'll talk it right back. He can't deal with adversity whatsoever. Come to think of it, he doesn't like any girl who isn't docile and talks back to him. It's really funny. He won't even talk to me now when he's sober -------------------- |
