 New son Donovan Charles Mummert born July 17, 2008 Group: Members Posts: 8,635 Joined: 22-February 06 From: Port Wentworth, GA Member No.: 15  |
I was in labor for 23 hours, but I had mt son Donovan Charles Mummert at 3:10 a.m. Thursday morning. He was 7 lbs. 4 oz and is 21.25 inches long. He is perfect. I got on here a few times to post about it, but I just didn't have the words to say it. He is amazing and everything I could have hoped for and more. He totally made the 9 months of hell worth it. He is such a beautiful baby.

I thought about it, and I really wanted the baby to have a name that meant something to our family. Donovan is my husband's mom's maiden name, and Charles is his grandfather that lost a battle to cancer a few years ago. His grandmother cried when we told her we were naming the baby after her husband that passed away.
