will be working on all the simulators the astronauts train on. they have 5-6 with various pieces of the shuttle/ISS, and are doing rough mockups of the new ones that will replace the shuttle and go to the moon. pretty neat stuff. i got to dock the shuttle to the ISS during my interview haha. pretty fancy projectors/screens/mockups. should be fun stuff.

what's more, i admire that you got this job without posting "searching for a job" on the boards. I really appreciate that kind of candidness, not entirely sure why though.

Is candidness the word you really meant to use? Doesn't seem to make sense in this context... unsure.gif

Eh, he didn't come right out and say it, but I kinda figured he was at least casually searching for a job, due to a few comments he's made.

Then again, I bitch about my job and I'm *not* hunting for one. *shrugs*

i think its natural to bitch about your job. i caught some of my employees making fun of some of my lesser qualities and they froze up. i told them that i make fun of my boss too, just your shit done and get along.

but why oh why do i have 750 chinese people checking into my building on the 4th of July.

Congratulations!

I was at the Johnson Space Center taking a tour of the training facilities a few weeks ago, that's a pretty sweet setup.
