Right now I'm wishing it were the weekend already... ugh.
But anyways, I think my boyfriend and I might go down to visit Natural Bridge Caverns on Saturday, but we don't have any other plans. We'll probably stay in most of the time watching movies, playing video games, and me studying up on Java. -------------------- |

i'm jealous i'll be fishing, learning how to program numerical weather models, and then getting a checkup on my lasik surgery i'm thinking about getting lasik in the next month or two, are you happy with it? i've heard of other methods that are safer, easier, but taken longer for your eyes to heal, i might go with one of those |

what's your workout routine? http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3224902600571518938 Do that as a set, rest a minute. Repeat for 4 sets (8 or so reps per individual exercise). I also toss in pull ups, curls, strength bar bends, etc. on certain days. Combine that with 5 days a week of mma training at 2 hours a session. I usually finish each session with 125 clicks of the jump rope, immediately stop and do 25 situps and 25 pushups, then repeat that a couple more times (that 3 times is one set. Do 3 sets). I also run a few times a week, usually 2-3 miles at a steady pace. I try to keep my body guessing with these routines. UFC, PRIDE FC, and King of the Cage reps will be there!!!) Good luck on potential interviews! I too am waiting to hear back on applications. Three jobs applied to thus far, all of which I'm very fucking qualified for (though one more than the other two), but we shall see if anything comes of them. Given my track record, if I can get an interview, I get the job (offer), but the hard part seems to be getting an interview for some bizarre reason. I've been working out a lot too (cardio 4 days in a row this week! yay!), but not "like a lunatic bastard". -------------------- |

i'm thinking about getting lasik in the next month or two, are you happy with it? i've heard of other methods that are safer, easier, but taken longer for your eyes to heal, i might go with one of those it's awesome, my eyes were horrible (-9 and -7.5) and now I'm seeing 20/15. what out there is safer or easier by the way? unless you're talking about IntraLase Lasik, which is what I had done. it's a <10min. surgery done with a couple lasers. I could see 20/15 the day after the surgery. you take eye drops for about 5 days then come back in a month, then 3 months, then 6, and I think a year. it's pretty badass. Nothing. Watching the SMU game monday.
Next weekend will be hell on wheels/fun at the same time so I am resting up. I am flying from Houston to Newark on Friday, driving to Philly that night, spending the day there, back to Newark on Sunday morning, flying to Seattle that morning then on back to Houston. Then I may be in Anchorage the weekend after that. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

what exactly do you do? (what job requires you to travel that much to seemingly random places) I am a consultant for a company that helps continuous process businesses operate more safely and efficiently. So you have a power plant, we have software and processes that help that plant operate at its capacity as much as possible. We track when pieces of equipment break and when you should fix it or if there is an underlying cause to the failures (a pump keeps breaking, turns out the pumps are fine but the bearings continually go bad). This makes companies safer and saves them $$$. We are big in the oil & gas industries as well as the utilities, drilling, and manufacturing areas. The Newark trip is partially for work and partially for fun. Anchorage will be for fun but I am not sure I want to go. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

thats cool. because you travel so much for work do you just have insane points with airlines? never having to pay for travel. awesome Pretty much. It's cool and sucks at the same time, I don't mind travel at all, it's just some of the places I have to go (refineries are in really crappy places sometimes). As soon as this trip to SEA is done I will be top tier with Continental for next year. I am already in the second tier for AA. My goal; Try out United's new product by flying them to DEN and a possible trip to Japan and maybe become an elite on them. Just for everyone to know, if you have a frequent flier account with any of the bigger airlines, look into mileage and how they credit. If you buy things from certain websites or use an airline credit card you can get up to 10-20x the miles. Continental gives double mileage for BestBuy.com purchases and others. Just something to look out for. After doing all of this travel I think I'd like to travel as a job. Maybe write about different things in different places or something like that. I just know I like that aspect of it. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |
