I have a knack for stepping on my Ipod headphones so I need new ones. Plus, for some reason guitars register slightly too low with factory Ipod headphones.

Any recommendations on good headphones? Price isn't really an issue but I find it ridiculous to spend over $50 on a pair of headphones.

If you don't mind slightly bulky, then I recommend Altec-Lansing w/ noise canceling. Work great for me and have a really rich and full sound. Got mine off newegg.com

Thanks dude. I have Altec Lansing computer speakers and they sound badass. I don't mind bulky headphones as long as they don't bother me when I'm running

NP

Definitely find them with noise canceling though. They are freaking amazing. You lose yourself in the sound.

If you've ever heard sony v700s you'd disagree that spending over 50$ on a pair of headphones is ridiculous. They have better sound than most none huge speaker systems.

Fuckmuffin. That word and muffintop are the two coolest things I've ever seen on this place. What would happen if a fuckmuffin fucked a chick with a muffintop? That's a lot of muffins. A lot of motherfuffin muffuckins.

i can't stand active noise canceling. theres some byproduct frequency that just bugs me. I prefer passive noise cancelling (ie, some really thick, really big, really good sounding over-the-ear headphones like my Sennheiesers.)

a little big for ipod fare, however. The ipod has kinda poor sound quality to begin with anywhos, so whatever.

This doesn't help the topic at hand - and I agree for the use of running etc it is silly to get "high end" headphones.

But.... If you have ever listened to quality headphones from Seinnheiser,Audiotechnica, AKG, and mothafuckin Grado......goddamn. It is seriously an entirely new way to experience music.

I've heard shit through 300 dolla headphones that made me a definite believer
